The Veldt has been making headlines ever since Deadmau5 told the world that he received some vocals from some guy named Chris James over his Twitter account. Who would known the once then preview would end up becoming the final version of Deadmau5's The Veldt feat. Chris James. This collaboration happened by accident, but the musical genius of the track was definitely not.
Inspired by a short story by Ray Bradbury, The Veldt takes you on a journey to the veldt, a room which changes depending on your thoughts. While you can read the full short story of the Veldt by Ray Bradbury, the track and the story still leave a lot for interpretation. I am by no means a literature buff, but I definitely can appreciate the thought and musical prowess necessary to develop those lyrics. I hope you can do the same.

Over the last 12 months, Above & Beyond have taken the sound and ethos behind their critically acclaimed Group Therapy album ("artist album of the year" - Mixmag) across the globe. From an intimate gig in a London pub to two sold out dates at Brixton Academy, from a landmark 400th radio show broadcast in Beirut to a sunrise set at Creamfields Argentina, and an epic 30-date North American tour, these are some of the moments that have made up their most memorable year to date.

I can't believe this kid is only 17 years old. Young French prodige, Madeon just released his new swan song. Madeon is here to stay, and I couldn't be happier. Look out for upcoming news on his first studio album in the upcoming months.
Morgan Page has been a busy guy. On top of his weekly Radio Show, In The Air, and his two recent bootleg releases, The Longest Stay Away and The Longest Atom, both mashup's of track with Morgan's hit track The Longest Road. He has just released another track on his Soundcloud page.
Derby Fight is actually my favorite out of the three he just released, so I recommend a listen and download. Another new track next week? Let's hope so!
Finally, the debut album of a Grammy nominated DJ, who put in many of his 15 years working on this album, Zero Point One by Andy Moor. The head of AVA recordings will be releasing a monstrous trance album on July 6 with a spectrum ranging the entire trance gamut, from ambient to big room vocal. Along with the single "In Your Arms" that many of you may have heard recently, Andy Moor's tracks have been remixed and bumped on ASOT and TATW in the recent months. The collaboration with Nicole McKenna is fire if you love the Dinka-esque progressive synth, which I know many of you do. I'm completely enjoying this album, as it is another beautiful addition to trance. Here's a minimix for your listening pleasure, be sure to pick up the album here.
