After a successful Phase 1 of their joint North American tour, trance duos Tritonal and Super8 & Tab are ready to release the tour's namesake--their collaboration, 'ARC.' Out November 19 on Air Up There Recordings, 'ARC' is a dance floor ready, big-room progressive house track with trancey undertones and showcases the energy the pairs have unleashed from coast to coast this fall.
"Most of the work on 'ARC' was done over Skype and file sharing," says Dave Reed of Tritonal. "But when we had a several day break from the tour, Miika (Super8) and Janne (Tab) stayed in Austin and we finished up the track together at the Tritonal studio."
A collision of signature and experimental sounds, 'ARC' is the result of two super-talents pushing their production capabilities to the max.
Chris Brown has been dabbling in EDM for quite some time now, collaborating with artists like Benny Benassi and David Guetta to create dancefloor smashing anthems like "Beautiful People" and "I Can Only Imagine". Brown has been effectively bridging the gap between Rap, America's favorite musical stylings for the past 15 years, and House, America's newfound dance music passion.
For his latest release, Chris Brown reached out to electronic music titan producer Showtek to develop a euphoric track house in the stylistic vein of Alesso and Sebastian Ingrosso. This is a major departure from the traditional Showtek we are familiar with, and while this may not be the Showtek we know and love I still believe this track has massive dancefloor potential.
We've had a pulse on Jakob Liedholm for quite a while now, and with every release this superhuman teenage Swede sets the bar higher and higher for euphoric house producers worldwide. His most recent release, Jakob Liedholm's Feeded Hearts remix of Nause is no exception. Premiered by Pete Tong last weekend, this track reaffirms Liedholm is positioned to have a spectacular 2013.
Originally released on September 17th, "I'll Listen" is Armin van Buuren's follow up to the smashingly successful "Suddenly Summer". Super8 & Tab have amped up the original mix of "I'll Listen" by injecting a deep growling bassline and stripping some of the melodic elements of the original to create a deeper and more melancholic sound. You can check out a preview of the track below, or click here to buy the track on Beatport.
Super8 & Tab are embarking on their North American "ARC Tour" with fellow trance artists Tritonal on Thursday at Beta Nightclub in Denver, CO. For a full list of dates, click here.
Hot off the heals of a successful collaboration with Sebastian Ingrosso, Tommy Trash keeps the swede dream alive by releasing his next single on Axwell's Axtone records. "Sunrise" is a powerful house track, complete with that signature chugging Tommy Trash bassline that's slowly become a staple in house sets across the world. Trash teamed up with fellow Aussie's The Aston Shuffle to produce this track, and "Sunrise" is scheduled to be released soon.
EnvyUS Artist OWEN BONES releases his second EP album, "Stage Two." The bass artist has released this album for FREE. You do not want to miss out on this EP, it contains well produced beats from a variety of genres.. Charlie Darker ignites another hit with a re-release of British House Michael Gray's "Can't Wait For The Weekend" featuring British Collective Roll Deep. With Charlie's classic heavy rumble sounds, he develops an entirely new feel to the banger that peaked the UK Singles Chart at #7 and topped out Poland at #1.
