Dash Berlin has been on a bootleg rampage. Last week he released his undeniably epic trance rework of Tupac's "California Love", and now his grace has breathed new life into Coldplay's "Clocks". I've recently become a huge Coldplay fan; they're music is moving and borderline transcendental and their live shows are probably one of the best out there right now. Those are pretty much the perfect ingredients Dash could have asked for while concocting this stellar remix; he's turned the energy up to 11 and creates a sing a long anthem for everyone to enjoy.
Check out the track below, which even includes a free download. Dash, you're the man.
People take music too seriously. If they aren't hating on Paris Hilton or Skrillex, then they're arguing over the difference between bro-step and gore-step (Here's the kicker, there is no difference. They both suck)
Charlie Darker knows how to enjoy his music. He comes to us this week with a funny lighthearted mash-up of Avicii, Zedd, Dada Life, and Clockwork. Take some time out of your day to laugh at this track. Enjoy!
The latest news on the mainstream front is that EDM superstar Deadmau5 will be in collaboration with the Foo Fighters for a live show at the Grammy's this weekend. The Grammy's will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 12th and will be aired on CBS.
This does not mark the first time these two groups have collaborated. Early last year, Deadmau5 went out on a limb and remixed the hit song Rope by the Foo Fighters and the result was actually quite interesting. Check out that track below:
Ken Loi's mashup to Deniz Koyu's Bong and The Naked & Famous' s Young Blood is one of the best mashups I've heard this year. Ken Loi is such a talented producer and every track he makes is amazing, especially this one!
Kaskade released another mashup yesterday, this time bringing us a mash of R3hab and Swankytunes. Swankytunes just released their latest collab "The Legend" with Russian duo Matisse & Sadko last week. Kaskade continues to bring solid club tracks to the table and this mashup will most likely make appearances in his live sets as well as others.
So Porter Robinson has just released 4 Bootlegs / Mash-ups via his facebook. This may not be news to you, as word of this spread quickly across facebook mid-day Tuesday June 5th, 2012. However, for you slackers, or those of you who work 9-5 jobs, here you go!
As Porter posted on his facebook:
"so, i just did a contest where i asked ya'll to vote for what bootleg/matchup of mine i'd post when we got to 400 shares. The description says it all, Patrick hooks it up big again. First he epically mashes "Phunk Investigation vs Modjo – Critical Lady" and then smacks us in the face with a monstruous treat, his BRAND NEW June 2012 Mix. Get ready for both downloads and tracklist after the break!
For this mashup, Binary brings together Thomas Gold & Dirty South's Alive & Kaskade's Let Me Go. From my experience, it seems pretty easy to create a mashup. However, its really hard to make a GOOD mashup. This track falls into the good mashup category and definitely deserves a playthrough. It's nice sometimes to mix it up and throw a couple mashups into your daily listening lineup or playlist for a party.
Enjoy the track and even take advantage of the free download while they still last!
