Easily one of my favorite artists, Jack Beats, has just released their new EP entitled 'Careless'. Its got the wobbles and the vocals we all love. Features Diplo, Example, Dillon Francis, and Takura. It's on Skrillex's OWSLA label interestingly with 7 tracks!

The following are 2 example tracks from the EP:

Friday, 10 August 2012
Published in Music Festivals

Now that the insane weekend of Hard Summer is over, Hard Haunted Mansion presents their Day of the Dead festival while also revealing the lineup. To no surprise, the list of DJ/Producers is littered with top tier names like Justice, Knife Party, Diplo, Dillon Francis, Zeds Dead, Tommy Trash, Jack Beats, Kill the Noise, AraabMuzik and Crookers. See, I wasn't kidding ;). This epic gathering will take place at the Historic Park in downtown Los Angeles (same venue as Hard Summer) on Saturday, November 3rd. Tickets on sale tomorrow!

Grab your ticket HERE as soon as they go on sale!

Doctor P & Dillon Francis collaborate to preview a new track entitled 'Music Is Dead'.  It's a fun track - the Diplo part I'm guessing  - mixed with some harder fast beats and rap -Docyor P's doing -asking:

What happened to music?

and claiming:

Music Is Dead, I'm going to bed.

Interesting track, that is for sure. What do you think? Comment below!

Published in EDM News

Ever wondered how DJ's try to promote themselves? Normally, they just have their management fill up the social media airwaves with new music, new events, promotions, and giveaways. But not Dillon Francis. He has taken DJ Awareness and blasted it off into the next level of self-promotion. Free Tacos from Taco Bell. Cheers Dillon. You are certainly one of the coolest dudes out there.

Dillon Francis just released his eagerly awaited "Something, Something, Awesome" EP. As one of the most prominent producers in the moombahton genre, I am looking forward to seeing how he plans to continue showcasing his brand of epic partygoing.

Eagerly awaited and ready to rock! Dillon Francis just released his latest EP "Something, Something, Awesome." on Skrillex's OWSLA Label. We have been seeing Dillon tweet about this album for weeks and just a couple days ago he released a teaser video for everyone to check out the EP a little bit early. On top of that he released the track "Dill the Noise" which is a part of the EP for free last week as well. Check out that track here: Dillon Francis & Kill the Noise - Dill the Noise.

- Dillon Francis

He couldn't have said it any better than I could. Dillon Francis is changing it up too! I'm liking the new directions some of these guys have been showing lately. Keep pumping out these cool collabs!

Zedd just released something recently that strayed from his normal sound too. Check out Spectrum released by Interscope.

If you were in LA the last weekend of May, you hopefully didn't miss Bassrush vs. Circus at the Hollywood Palladium.  The night was pure insanity fueled by Doctor P, Funtcase, Brown & Gammon, and Flux Pavilion.  If you don't live in LA or you missed it, I have just the thing to make up for it.  Following Koan Sound's breakthrough last year with their funky, bass heavy moombahcore EP "Max Out", artists have been scrambling (mostly unsuccessfully) to get on the bandwagon.  However, in Circus' "Mr. Mongoose's Fantastic Weekend" EP, they hit the nail on the head.  Featuring groovy tracks by Circus' freshest and most famous talent, this EP won't fail to get your head banging and feet tapping.  Let the moombahcore play on!
