About More Electro Please:

We are a company started out of the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles in June 2011 to give our friends and fans the newest in EDM music, events, news, merchandise, etc.  We have grown a lot in our short history and only plan on expanding! With regards to online ticket sales, we sell tickets to nearly every event in Los Angeles and want to grow to expand to more cities! 

Job Description:

We are looking for candidates to be Online Ticket Salesman. An Online Ticket Salesman:

- Keeps their respective cities Events Calendar up to date. Example: Here is the Los Angeles Calendar updated currently: http://bit.ly/RlGhGD

- Does so by learning to use our Joomla (backend) system to the website. Will post the events with the correct URLS (our company already has its own URL trackers with many companies). So the person who takes up this position must learn how to find our specific URL to sell tickets for such events.

- He or she must know about the EDM scene in his or her respective city. He or she knows about which artists are big in their respective cities, usually is one of the first to know (and tell his or her friends) about DJs coming to the city to play at clubs, festivals, etc. Thus, this person can be one of the first in his or her city to get the event out to their friends and social network to generate even greater sales, which will result in more cash for you!

- Is influential on getting his or her friends to events and knows how to use social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to do this.

- Will learn our CONNECT system and will try to get their friends to use it – it allows us to have registered users who sign in and show what events they are attending, etc. These groups can be made for promotional reasons, to connect friends, show a cool new system, etc. This isn’t important now but will be in the future.

       Job Responsibilities:

-  Although you can work at your convenience, you will have some deadlines. There are very few of them so you are expected to make every single one (monthly).

     - For example, every calendar month needs to be finished (to the best of your ability), 3 days prior to the month starting. Missing the deadline will not be tolerated! This is really the ONLY rule we have.

- Get in contact with local ticketing companies to set up URL specific codes so that we can sell tickets to local clubs / festivals. We already do this with Groove Tickets (Fla.vor.us) and Wantickets, as well as a few local ones. But, it is almost certain your city has some events that are city specific.

- Make sure (by any means possible) that people buy tickets through our specific URL group. This may be through newsletters, emails, or posts – whatever it takes for people to use our links! And our links are affiliated so it costs your clients the same price whether they buy through us or elsewhere!

- Get paid per ticket sold! Since we are already established, we already have relationships with nationwide companies like Groove Tickets (Fla.vor.us) and Wantickets. However, cities oftentimes have some local ticketing companies. With such companies, we need to get in touch with them to give us referral links for events. Mentioned above in Job Responsibilities.

- Work on your own schedule as long as you meet your monthly deadline.

- Work is online so you can work at home at your own convenience.
